Celebrating Freedom, Unity and the Spirit of Patriotism

Sree Veerendra Patil Degree College, Bengaluru, celebrated India’s Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotism and pride. The celebration brought together students, teaching and non-teaching staff and college authorities to commemorate the historic occasion and pay tribute to the brave freedom fighters who made immense sacrifices for the nation.

The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The sight of the Tricolour fluttering proudly on the college campus created a strong sense of patriotism and unity among everyone present.

The celebration highlighted the significance of Independence Day and reminded students of the values of freedom, democracy, equality, unity and national responsibility. The programme also focused on the role of young citizens in contributing to the development and progress of the nation.

Students actively participated in the celebrations through patriotic speeches, songs, cultural performances and other activities. Their enthusiastic participation reflected their love for the country and added vibrancy to the occasion.
